It came out good. You should try some lubrication though. Get this cleaner called Purple Power (it is a knock off of Super Clean) and spray some onto the sandpaper. Same principal as wet sanding, only better. Although even straight water would work better than dry.
Even you know that dry sucks, I saw you blow onto one of your sheets :)
My sharpening system consists of 4 synthetic diamond stones, 2 Arkansas stones (medium then hard), then a rouged strop. I don't need to flatten anything either.

No more water for me, that's one of the reasons I switched from stones.
