16 oz. for the Youth

I'm told a 13 ounce chisel hammer strikes the balance between power and control.  It turns out that the majority of these recommendations come from old people - people with rickety joints, weak bones, and dated ideals.  If you're a strapping young lad or las, give 450g a try.

Also, if you buy this particular hammer from toolsforworkingwood, beware:  in the catalog photograph they subtly disguise the fact that the 16 oz model is not the same shape as the other three.  I was disappointed at first, and I still am.
